BFBC2, one of my favourite on-line FPS, is getting a new version soon, the game-play graphics are very admirable and getting close to a level of realism that you can see them looking like films eventually. Its a long way from playing pacman at the local arcade...

to much glow on these almost black/white visual! :P

Considering the visual advancements with the scene people (demos and so on), I would expect more.
Now the captured movements of the players sure impressed me, no more 200km/h running...

I guess it all comes down to game play, is it good?
I´m usually not interested in FPSs, which I normally name them "shoot and open door" games.
but there are exceptions.

Well I don't play the campaigns in these games, I buy them for there online gaming. BFBC2, it's predecessor is IMHO probably the best online squad shooter, far superior to MW2. It has deep strategic team play with some amazing vehicle combat mixed in. This new version looks even better.

I will have to take a look then...

I have been looking for a game to play online with my bro but failling to find any.
He is a fan of strategies so this may come good.

After playing Planetside for a few years I can't really even look at those other games. A war between three sides, each can have 133 people on the same battle ground and there are so many different tactics thanks to each world having at least 15-20 bases giving the owner different stats and important benefits. Not to mention all worlds are connected live so you need those connections to get your heavy armour up on the other worlds.

Ok, the grafics aren't top-notch any more and there are some annoying bugs still but it's nothing you even notice in the heat of battle. This is no single-player game, if you try you will be very disappointed. There are platoons rolling around with Teamspeak and 30 people, they won't have any trouble taking you down :-)
