Err Gernot - you've actually got B'lox! so you know that I'm working with it. I have uploaded it to the App Catalog, but I'm just waiting for it to be reviewed and my forms to go through.

I'm working on two other games for the Pre at the moment.
I came. I saw. I played.

Yes. But the Apple App store thread is full of other games, but none have been ported so far.
I really hope people will catch up and make the App Catalog something great. I like the OS better than iOS (the iPhone hardware I like slightly better than the Pre, then).

Ian Price

I really love the hassle free dev cycle with the Pre. Compile your code and use the macro and it's up and running on the Pre in under 30seconds. Love it.

If only the Pre's screen was as large as the iDevice.

To be fair, there aren;t that many of us on here that have the Pre and the iDevice just yet. And give it time - GBasic games (that are not yours) should be appearing on the App Catalog soon. Then we can start an App Catalog thread =D

I told them I'd like to work on stuff for their TouchPad, but haven't heard anything back yet. I only mailed them sunday evening though. That doesn't worry me though...as I've already read that they aren't that good at communicating info to their users.
I hope I'm be able to compile to it, if it arrives, though.  :D

But no skin off my nose. I just started porting my Omega Race 2009 to GLBasic yesterday, so the work won't be for nothing and it'll definitely be out for the iPad even if it doesn't end up on the TouchPad.

It will surely end on the WebOS pad, because I will get one and port GLBasic to support it. Unless they changed a very lot like disabling SDL. But I think they are pretty clever not to do so.

Finally received a Palm Pre 2. Hopefully it won't be to hard to convert my iPhone game to the Pre 2.

Should be no problem at all. It should just work (and probably a bit faster/smoother than iPhone too).

I am writing this from my new Palm, received today. Woot!

Now I have to learn how to run software on it, I have no idea at all :)

Open GLBasic Editor and press F1  :good:

If you can run software on an iDevice, you can run it on a Pre.

Installing your own GLB software is not only easier, but it's quicker too. Just plug in the USB and then run the PRE macro (once you've set it up). It's a doddle and the way iDevice should have been.

And it's a lovely machine.

I though I had to install some SDK...

Millerszone

I had problems installing the app on the Palm, but the problem was a bad USB port on my desktop puter.

Follow these instructions:

Couldn't be any easier! This is how the iPlatforms should be.

The only problem I'm having is the sound lags a little, but I thing that has something to do with WebOS,
and the Alpha Blending isn't working on my images.

Other than that HTD Baseball plays and looks great on the Palm.

But the install screipt is (yet) not working for me. I will move myself to another thread.
