Yep, it just needs a SIM that has been activated first to work.

Unfortunately no - wont let me use hers   There is a spare one which I may be able to get hold of later on, which would be good...

As my free SIM cards hadn't turn up, I had to pay for a new SIM card 

It's a very nice phone - I haven't been able to start development for it due to unwanted intrusion by an ex-customer about another ex-customer wanted a problem sorted...

Okay, I've been sitting on my...butt - and not done a thing (stupid), but now that many of you have recieved your phones I decided that I should try to get one too.
I mean - I can only get a "no", right.

A few questions;

* Some of you have gotten a cupon for $200 off, but some of you have gotten the phone free of charge too, right...or what?
* Following the link on the first page I can't see where or to who I should write. Did they remove a link...perhaps because there are no more phones?
...and if that's not it - can someone post a link/email I can use?

I sent of a letter last night and already had a reply back this morning.

Well, I didn't get a 'yes' but I didn't get a 'no' either.

What I got was "Would you be able to port any of these games to one of our future devices like the Veer, Pre 3 or the TouchPad?"

I must have sold myself well...
...but unfortunately I can't really answer anything but 'perhaps' to that, as I'd be utterly reliant on Kitty to do this and he'd probably need to have the same device first, to be able to support it.

Just say "YES!" you might get one of the newer machines out of this - I'm pretty sure they won't ask for it back if you don't deliver.

Touchpad. Me wants touchpad!
Folks, where is the great iPhone devs here? I've not heard of any game ported to the pre. And what is easier than that?

I think having a product you can demonstrate that could be converted would help.

The touchpad does look great :



Should be out in June and hopefully will be cheaper than an iPad...

And would be great if more people supported the Pre by converting iPhone stuff...
