Is there any consideration being given to FULL Linux support?

I LOVE GLBasic, but I do not like having to maintain a Windows machine just to compile Linux games.

I have to admit I have been looking at pygame and python, just so I don't have to use Windows or Wine.

You can use a virtual installation using VirtualBox or VMWare on linux on the 2nd desktop e.g.
This works very well and GLBasic runs on Win98.
I've started making it work using WINE, but that's still not perfect.
Hiro had an idea to make a new IDE that's cross-platform, however that's going to take some time. There might be a running version quickly, but it's less powerful than the original IDE. Especially debugging might be a problem.

*sighs*  I know, but this defeats the purpose of using Linux.  If you are going to use Linux and use virtualization/emulation to run Windows programs, you would be better off using Windows ;)

Either way, GLBasic still blows away the competiton ;0

Works with WINE now.
