How fast is GLBasic on the GP2X

Hi All,

I would like to know if GL Basic can run at frames of 25fps on GP2X and
how much a disadvantage it is not to have a visual editor onboard.

You get pretty fast FPS for 2D games. Writing an R-Type or something is no problem at all.
What's wrong with programming instead of click+play?

I've compiled a game for the GP2X and it's running @ 40 FPS well. Before I tried 50 FPS and it was slowing down a bit.

I've managed to get my GP2X Tetris game running at 60FPS and that has a moving starfield with 500 stars and 5 independant layers, so it's pretty fast!
