It used to be the case where this would terminate after a while if no device/emulator was present.  Unfortunately it doesn't now (left the last one for a few hours and it is still trying to install onto a default device )

if its Android, this is long time issues and this is NOT a glbasic bug as such. This is due bad adb drivers, etc when the device got disconneted or have bad cables and so on. This is not a bug, and Gernot can do nothing about at all, except when he finally upgrade the outdated api-8 glbasic still uses (Android Extras uses api-18).

This issue was extractly directly why im in Android Extras disabled auto install, so you need to copy&paste it to the command line. In that way its seen to been a bit more stable and fell better, so you can see what it happens under install.

But here, adb can been quite very crap and one of the bad side of Android.

Yes, it is rather annoying as you have to close GLBasic to get out of the problem.
