I don´t know if it´s in the market, or it´s in developement, but it´s equal... only if it´s the half of good than the film, the game can be awesome.

It's due to be released very soon. As an Aliens fan, I really want this game to be good!

Yes Ian the quality it´s superb and the film for me it´s the better of Aliens. I think this arrives on Christmas for marketing things, or when it´s released the new Alien movie, I ear in someplace the guy was made, Lost it´s the director of this film. In this case apparently it´s the time in the movie it´s before than Alien the 8th Passager.

That game looks great and I'm looking forward to it - Aliens is my favoutite after all.

But...I really hate it when people write Aliens II ...it's ignorant. There is nothing called that.
..well, I just had to get that off my chest.

Well sokura, I never had troubles whit nobody in the forum, but Ignorant I think are you, in Spain was called Aliens II, and if for write the II in the name of a film say the people it´s ignorant ... better be ignorant what not have humility.

I knew what you meant, and I've seen that mistake many times, so if you're writing the title wrong it's probably more the fault of the Spanish film importer/distributor and their lack of trust in the moviegoer since they felt they had to put a '2' in the title so people would be able to understand what the movie was.

Still, does it actually say 'Aliens II' on the screen while the movie plays?...and can you say with 100% honesty that you don't know the real title of the movie?...well, perhaps you didn't know and that's okay - it doesn't really matter all that much.

So come on...don't take it so damn seriously. I did put a smilie in my post - let's not fight over a 25 year old movie.

I'm very much looking forward to this.  Am/was a big fan of Left4Dead and by the sounds of it with 4 player co-op it's a bit like Left4Dead meets Aliens.  Very cool.

but 3d fps games for have not changed since doom´s days.
it´s all about shooting and opening doors.

I was really glad with minecraft, as it extended things a lot.

but another shooter on a nice theme?

Nice graphics but....

I was hoping for a non-linear game with a lot of scripted action and free moving maps. Unfortunately it doesn't seems to be that way! Most games force the gamer to go a pre-determined path and script all the action, and I understand why, but some exaggerate a little bit too much.

the thing game was a big let down, and I´m a great fan of the movie and john carpenter itself.
Alien breed they did these days was a let down too, I had hopes....

my brother got red orchestra 2 these days and wanted me into it, impossible.
the argument was that multiplayer was fun, heck, I guess anygame where you get 64 friends to play with if fun, even chess (as a joke).

I will be looking into this alien new game, as I had been tracking it already, but I can´t really have any hope.

What I would like into it is what AMateus said, plus a higher interactive degree, something like to be able to operate the base to seal doors, etc etc.

My other grunt on new games is the AI, I hope this one carries a descent one.

I'm glad this uses the 80s Aliens film for its back story. IMO the Alien franchise has become increasingly diluted and confused over time.
