I read a comment in a forum this project is the succesor of the Pandora, seems have a lot of powerfull at least in 3D graphics have a nice card... I read the price will be less than the new Pandora project...

Yeah, I've been following this with interest. It is indeed the successor to the Pandora and it's looking to be a very powerful little machine that's likely to be Pandora compatible. It's already showing emulation working really well.

The price is NOT likely to be less than the Pandora - this is a much more powerful machine, with larger everything - memory, screen, processor speed etc. The price point shouldn't be too far off from the top of the line Pandoras but it probably will be more expensive.

Demand is set to be high and ED (the mastermind behind it) expects to start pre-orders in September, once the hardware is FULLY complete - this is not going to be like the Pandora, where the hardware wasn't even made before the pre-orders. This will likely go into full production in early 2016.

I'll have my finger on the order button the moment it goes live, as I really love the Pandora, despite its flaws and lack of power.

Thanks fro the info Ian, then GLbasic can be ported without too much problem, ins't?¿, I wait too see when launch the device, because I think about 500$(I'm not sure if is this price + or - ) it's a too much for my bucket, but depends how many devices sells can be a good point to sell our app.

But I won´t be able to purchase one since it would get in Brasil at more then 2x that price.

Would you get charged import duties if you order from another country and get them to send it to you and define it as a gift?

The specifications are nice, but I would like to see it have 4GB of RAM instead  of 2.  It also needs to be priced very competitively too.

yep, the gift-technique won´t work. It might get through if I use cheap deliver but this is the kind of thing you don´t want to save on shipping.
If I don´t declare the original price they might guess based on the product and their guessing is not going to favor me.
The standard is that we pay around 60% the total price (product+shipping) if the thing is up to 500 dollars.
If "it is over 500!!!!" then it gets really cloudy and it could be cheaper taking a plane and picking it up myself.
Plus the bonus that our government decided to f**k the economy and our money suddenly became 50% of what it was last year compared to foreign currencies.

Yep, the more ram the better, I think by the time it gets released, maybe this year, it may need a memory boost from the design days.
