About importing meshes whit bones on Glbasic.

HI, from yesterday , I stay making probes about 3d on Glbasic, runs very well when you make the texture mapping on cinema 4D, exports the unwrap material and model perfectly, and the engine goes very well on iPhone.

But... now I´ve a doubt because in the 3D theme I´m a little forgot, how I can export an animate mesh, animated by bones on Glbasic, I stay triying whit some exporters, own Panda exporter, for MAX in .X, and Blender and Cinema 4D in .X too, but any model can´t be converted to .dda, I tried too the exporter for blender of Glbasic, but not works, when I want export whit bones it´s said me an error on blender.

Anybody can helpme, I remenber a video, on Gernott explains the exporthing method thru Blender, but I don´t locate in the forum yet.

Can be import bone meshes Glbasic, or perhaps is not yet.

in blender, you must select the mesh (and only the mesh) and then export to dda.

Hi, Gernoot thanks for comment me this little trick, I think be a solution more easy for make animated models from other applications( what made an importer/exporter ), in example Max or Cinema or another soft what have DAE Exporter.

I think getting a exporter for the new realease of blender, anybody can import in Blender her animated model in .dae, and then export from blender whit the exporter of Glbasic.

I stay making probes, whitout succes, but in example character studio animation exported to blender, in this appears the keyframe of the animation, I´ve to investigte a little more, but I don´t kwon if Dae importer works fine from max or another 3d suite.

Another question, is, yesterday I export a model in blender, nothing... a simple character whit about 300 Polygons, and a png texture, but only the model whitout have the weigth of 2Mb~, I don´t know the cause, but he iphone crashes.

If I found a simple solution for make animatable models from "Soft X" to blender, I´ll put here the info.

PS:A counsel about make lightmaps o complete maps, Use CINEMA 4D, whit this soft the unwrap texture works perfectly, however in max goes extremaly bad, in Glbasic appears the texture without sense.
