Yep, suicidator is really nice, I still hold to an old version of blender that supports the free version of it.
I would not know hoe to start doing such, but suicidator , iirc, is script based, python I guess.

You are not doing too good on cave story there on the pic
Did you ever finish it? It is an awesome game all around.

Yes Blender is scripted with Python with which I have some experience, but I know nothing about the API.

Sadly, I'm not the gamer I used to be so when I couldn't get past the part with the water that has currents in it after a few tries, I lost interest. I will be using a couple of elements from it on my Sup*r M*troid wannabe.
