No more Lite?

I just purchases the lite version to develop 2D programs for Pandora a couple of weeks ago. That version is no longer available in the shop and the news on the site now says "GLBasic is now free for non-commercial Projects of the platforms: Windows, Linux und Mac (2D und console). If premium services are used, the running app switches into the 5 minute demo mode"

Since Pandora is not among the listed platforms, does it mean that I need to purchase full version in order to develop non-demomode programs for Pandora?

I believe the idea is that the free/lite versions are only for Windows, Mac and Linux and thus you will need the full version to program for the Pandora.

Yes. Unfortunately you are one of the very little people that got the lite SDK, which is now basically free. I hope you don't mind.

I'm 110% sure Gernot actually meant "few" not "little" in his above post. I doubt that he feels you are little/beneath him or unimportant. He really appreciates his customers and the amount of work he does for them is amazing.
I came. I saw. I played.

Oh my!!!!
Apologies! I'm not a native English speaker. Usually I know the difference of few/little, but see, it was posted 1:48 am, so have mercy.

I didn't even know of the meaning of "little" for people.

Reminds me of a story: Good friend, quite a package of a man, went to UK with his wife and they ordered Fish+Chips or so. In Germany "to get" is "bekommen", so she ordered: "We became two mini fish".

Well, I don't mind the word little vs few, but I do mind the licensing change a bit...

Since the lite version no longer can be used for the purpose I purchased it for, the money spent on it was wasted. I wouldn't mind too much if I had to purchase the full version in order to get the expansion packs that vere previously available as separate items. But this licensing change reduces the functionality of the program after I have purchased it, so I do consider it a bit unfair.

But it wasn't that much money, I've spent more on other software which I didn't have much use after purchase.  These things just happen.

Ah, you mean the "commercial"part?
You DO have a valid license, which is also legal for V8. That means, you ARE allowed to create commercial apps with you key.
