Technical Doubt about 2d>go>3d>go>2d>go>3d....ETC

Hi I read this in the Help:

You can switch back and forth as many times as you like before calling SHOWSCREEN.

My doubt, it´s, if I change from 2D to 3D, or inverse... more than 2 - 3 or 4 times... the FPS, don´t drop down... The  changes from 2d to 3D don´t have a very high repercusion in the performance?¿...

I only switch from 3D to 2D once, but haven't noticed any speed reduction with it.  What will slow things down though is multiple 3D renderings...

PS: A little trick for not advice never ralentization in 3D and 2D in mobile devices (I only test in Palm Pre, but the other have to ve equal), it´s put FPS to 50FPS, and not at  60FPS, whit 60 FPS when the 3D dissapears you can nottice a little increment of speed...
