Hi

re: Using Windows 7 only..

I was wondering if there is any way of keeping a program running in the background when another window is being used.

For example using a Timer/alarm counting down on the program and still running while the user uses another window for example windows media player?

When I switch windows(ie to media player from Program)  the program pauses which means the alarm wont go off.

Many thanks

Hi

Say I have a big world map that overlaps the device screen size how would I scroll the device screen around the big world map?
Is there a world coordinates and a local screen device coordinates?

Is there a way to fix sprites/text to the device screen, while it scrolls around the map?

Any example code would be helpful.

Thanks.

Hi All

I am looking at getting GLBasic but was wondering about:-

1. Is it as easy to compile to other formats as just one click (ie android, ios, etc)?
As other products you have to create various templates in visual studio and use other 3rd party software just to compile it. Like the idea of just one click and compile to different format.

2.When you get a licence is there free upgrades and if so is it limited.

3. When you get a licence and upgrade the free software do you get add  ons as well, or are they extra. I saw mention of add ons and wondered what they are.

Thanks for looking at this post, in the mean time i will get used to the free version .

Many thanks
