HI zusammen... sorry for open another post... But I thinked here can show more people my Development...
Really I don't go to put all the media I have in the another thread only the video, and the last I do in this 2 weeks...

This it's the Beta video... Really not it's the finish but you can show a bit, the look and feel of the game...

Really nice effort in mesh and texture detail. So you don't use 3dsmax for design?

Yes Matchy I sta using 3ds max about from 16 or 15 years ago, but I'm a bit bored, the buttons always saty in the same place  :P , really Cinema 4d have a lot of things more more powerfully, like the Scultp mode, and the easy way of use... I probe a lot of 3d Suites but Cinema 4D for now it's the better choice... 3D it's something similar to programming, change from one to another not it's too much complex... Another very good thing in Cinema , it's programable whit Python... and for make plugins it's very very easy... at this moment, I don't undeerstand something, but time to time...

Might be some help for you with regards to using python in Cinema 4D, it's also one of the things I want to learn but just haven't got around to it yet  :D

oh ok mentalthing, me to with 3dsmax since the dos version. I will give 4d it a try soon as I haven't modeled a mesh for about a year. any, big projectx fan also.  :O :D

I used 3d studio back in the dos days & was a great program, however I never really got on with 3DSmax mainly due to the UI. Not that there was anything wrong with it as such but I just kept finding myself fighting it looking for the tools/dialogs etc that I needed to use and found it "Clunkly"  :D.

Cinema 4D & Lightwave have been my main 3D apps for years since the Amiga days, both have different UI's to each other & 3DSmax but both feel natural to me, each to their own  ;).

I also used to used Calligri Truespace, Imagine & Real3D. The latter 2 I still have on my Amiga while I still have Truespace4 on my pc mainly for reading Amiga Imagine files (plus .X ones).

@fuzzy and Matchy, yes I begin whit 3ds max form the R4 whit ms-dos, the jump to 3ds max 1, was a very nice for me, but I think to the max 4 I don't begin to make something more complex... Really I don't understand how make complex figures..

About comment fuzzy, LW it's very different but it's a really good suite for 3D, the problem in Spain is, if you want work (well this it's SCI-FI now in my country) like 3D designer all the people uses 3DS Max... basically I think for make popular, LW, don't use too much people only freelance... they are very minoritary people, and after comes Maya and XSI, but this use only big companies... Make 10 years arrive C4d and I was making practices in a Job, and I begin to use... Normally I only Use Bodypaint, for me too much better than Photoshop, but in this version they agree The Sculping modeling... much easier than Zbrush...

About fuzzy the tutos you comment me, I meet yet, but I found a videos about Python in C4d and they are very good, really not it's too much complex only it's find the way to understand how works , for now I'm confused in some clases and how put the code... I don't have hurry to learn it, I have to read more about the Standar help for physics Maths and all this things..,. Really I think this soft for mathematics, for an specific module can be very fun for them....

HI guys after a bit of time whitout touch the BlackSun, I'm involved in another projects and texting things.. I turn whit new Energy...

I leave this little video... really I like a lot the appareance... about the speed don't worry GLbasic runs perfectly at 45 FPS but seems FRAPS drop down a lot the FPS, and I record the video under Virtualization... Not it's too much  thing, but it's done in only 2 nights...

Hey guys I like to show you a bit the Editor I'm working for Black SUn, really this don't consume too much time, perhaps now I get 3 weeks, and I suppose before the month ends I have done... and after summer can continue working in the Stages...

Basically this Editor it's similar to the project I put into the Foum "Media , or share you media", but more easy to use...

Basically you can touch camera lighting, and change the predefines patterns for the enemies (I have a lot of diffetents patterns and each it's very customizable), and finally I can add details in 2D for the 3D scene , basically add a new layer in 2D over 3D or over the 2D graphics in another Stages, for add more details, or simply pur enemies like turrets or robots in the ground.

The image can say nothing, but at least you can see a bit the UI, very very poor, but for now It's functional and easy to use, the another Editor I did a long time ago, was really complex to use, in fact I forget the project because sometimes was very dificult make something, here basically it's press the button and you have done the function do you want do...

I have to work in something but for now I think the editor it's at the 85%... not too much work needed.

HI a lot of time without put something about Bsun... I "finish" the Editor, it's a bit buggy but works fine... I leave a video if you want see what can do, it¡s about 4 minuts, but passing quickly you can show everything...

Don't make awesome things and I will implement new things on each stage, especifics things, but I think can be very usefull, put each enemy using code it's a huge work and tedious, the way for apply in the real game it's easy with a .txt or .dat file and reading the properties in the correct time... Basically the Editor it's the Game Extended for patterns positions and this things.

PS: If you wacth, put HI-RES in the frame it's difficult see the video, so the application uses all monitor size.
