im did enhance once in few years ago, a Blitzmax game, im did improve the controls and also changed, so its was more suited to been installed into a MAME (an emulator) based arcade cabints.
Depend how well the code is, then improvement things can been easy, but im have not a change which kind of game as well genre its is. But very good luck to you.
