Toolbar move

Ok, so I have GLB v9 on my desktop and my laptop. They are both widescreen but the laptop is a higher resolution at 1920x1200. I copy the same projects between the 2 main machines depending where I am. Anyway, I've noticed that the toolbar that has the macro icons always moves to below the main toolbar when using the laptop. This every time I restart GLB. There is about half the width of the screen left to put the macro toolbar to the right of the main toolbar, and in fact more width than the desktop has. I can move the macro toolbar to the right of the main toolbar and all is fine, but I have to do this everytime I start GLB on the laptop. As I said, the desktop is absolutely fine and the macro toolbar always appears to the right of the main toolbar on GLB startup.

Same thing happens to me. You move the Compiler bar up to the Tool bar, and when you re-open GLBasic
the Compiler bar is back under the Tool bar. Basically it's not saving the Compiler bar position on exit.

Yeah, thats what I get. I haven't checked otherwise (made a new project for instance) but for me it is happening when I open a project I had on another machine which runs fine everytime with the bar, but using a different resolution screen. Perhaps it saves all this with the project and cocks up on a new resolution?

Kitty Hello

export the registry key:
hkey_current_user\software\dream_design\glbasic

please, and send me a PM from the PC where it happens.

DON'T POST HERE. THE "Licence" SUBDIRECTORY CONTAINS YOUR KEY!

Crivens

Ok have sent it. Note that it's not to do with the project from another machine. If I just cancel the option box when GLB first loads then I still get the macro toolbar underneath the main toolbar.

OK, got it.
Un-fullscreen the window. Size it big. Dock the toolbar properly. Close the IDE.
Now, fullscren the IDE and close again.

Fixed?

The non-fullscreen window was too small to keep the toolbar in one row, that's the problem.

Fixed! :good:
