Just to let everyone know that my current website (www.miscthings.co.uk) will no longer be available from the 4/3/10, and at least until I get a new web host to house my lovely website (and the GLBasic command language).

This is indeed a great pity, it is a very good reference for the GLBasic language.

Will you 'own' the domain, or was it an all-in-one deal?  I can organise space to host, but we'd have to get the domain name to point to your virtual web presence (by having it point to my DNS server) on my web server until you get a proper host.  Not that there's any rush if we do go that route as it's not being used for much.  Either that or you'd have to put up with a stupid name like 'miscthings.davis.org.au'.

The only real issue would be I'd have to muddle my way through the complex control panel and despite having once been pretty good at this sort of thing at a command line level, I'm rustier than rust (GUI?  We didn't have a GUI in my day, heck when others had 1's and 0's, we had to make do with just 0's -- man I feel old right now).  I can barely spell DNS these days.

Ordered my new website now.  The new web URL is http://www.un-map.com (first time I've had a .com address )

This web hosting company is a lot more advanced than my previous one - the main one being I now have a wiki

The GLBasic online help system is now at glbasic.un-map.com
