Yes, I've come close to buying that on a number of occasions.   Lots of fun to play with I thought, although not that difficult as a puzzle game (I think the only thing its really been criticized over).  Hmm might be the time to get it finally.

But why does it always have to be paypal? Paypal don't accept my Visa e-card since paypal has their own offer and don't want to compete with other banks.

I didn't want to pay much as - as you pointed out - it's not a difficult game, but this offer made it worthwhile.
