Hi Gernot

I know you've been playing with the Wiz for a while now and wondered when we'll be able to compile our own Wiz GLB apps? Will this be possible in V6.0 from the off?
I came. I saw. I played.

Kosta

i think so,... yes.

in the beta, you can already select "WIZ" to compile.

Other Question to Gernot:   Is a Compilation for Pandora planned?    if yes, Date?

German: Wie sieht es mit Netzwerksupport seitens GLBasic/Pandora aus? (werden da die Netzwerkbefehle funktionieren?)

English (more or less ): How about network-support? Will it work on GLBASIC/Pandora ?

Sceptic? ;) As soon as first users have it you'll see that the dream has become true.

Yes, network stuff works on linux, thus no problem. It will work with the WIZ Wifi addon, too (once this will be out).

Kitty Hello

Got 3D chip of the WIZ working now. But it's flickering, still and I have to change function calls internally, since it's unusefully slow, still.

It's a start though, Gernot  :good:

MK0s have been out for a while for developers.

I've not seen _one_ fully featured prototype, yet. There is none. Since 2 days they have a prototype of the rubber keyboard. No keys, yet.

Ian Price

There are no keys Gernot. That rubber mat IS the keys - it is hardened on top, so it's not going to be too Spectrum like. Only the D-ad and Buttons are going to be plastic. Obviously the nubs are different entriely.

The MK0s are just the board and LCD. For input you use alternate USB or bluetooth devices (now that bluetooth is working). They are just dev boards but seem to be enough for everyone to pump out many awesome emulators, games, applications, and even full operating system ports. They've been having issues with the banking as well as getting part shipments on the proper dates. I guess that not too many banks like a flood of well over a million dollars in a few days time.

Like a speccy keyboard? Oh no! Didn't they know it was shit?

Gernot's approach about the Pandora really seems to be quite dismissive... have no clue what's going on there...
