Hi guys I comment this for if anyone wants buy , not for Glbasic for now, but for another soft or simply for change or have another phone terminal.

Really I think iOS it's worst than Phone8, it's easy, all very clean, and the device runs like a charm, very very quick...

The really good point it's the price, about 80E (for me cost about 100 for postmail) front the 600E of iPhone, 3d Graphics awesome, the games don't ralentize, the size it's like a phone, not a Tv in your pocket.

The model I bought it's the Lumia 520, I read it's a Super - Sell device , seems Microsoft done rigth the work with this device.

I know for only a bit more you have more powerfull models of Lumia but I thnk for do games It's always better have a don't very powerfull device for compatibility with better phones .

Only I wanna comment for if anyone are choicing between some devices or not are sure with another Android or iPhone, this it's a ver very good choice.

Windows phone has a 2.5% market share. Last year that was 3.4%. However I believe small market share means the owners are more willing to spend money to buy games and apps to support. And less competition on content on the store. :-)

its would been nice if glbasic could support Windows Phone, because its now possible to uses c++ with Windows iPhone 8, but howover its does require fair bit of software and not all might not been free (just like xCode requirement for iOS).

I can confirm, Windows Phone is really nice to use. My father bought a Lumia phone a couple of weeks before. I recommended it. He never used smartphones before and he's very satisfied with it. As a phone I would prefer that but for Android development I always need an Android device.

WP8 development would be interesting too but because of the tiny market share it makes absolutely no sense.

Bugs it still bigger than example ouya etc. So I'm thinks smaller market would been ideel for us indie markers and would been nice to dev a game to that. I'm do sure iOS/android is much faster render in games, but typical games we make should not been a trouble.

Of course the biggers market can keen Asia.

I'm would even pay this as a extra eventuelly.

I think like yours guys perhaps the share couta of devices it's very little, but for a single developer can be a nice economic quantity, iPhone and Android I think it's practically imposible gain money. Perhaps Badda and Meego can be another nice place I think Meego it's called another way.

About develop, really it's super easy something similar to Palm Pre, really confortable put a app into the phone, I'm not sure but I think with Visual Studio 2013 Express you can upload the app to the device.

TheMapChap  :good: , ok but I continue calling MrT  :)

glbasic supports various minor platforms, so that why this platform could been very cool, even windows 8 and Visual Studio 2013 Express is required.

There is a SDL2 version for Windows phone coming along.

If GLBasic were possible for this phone then it would be very cool.  :good: Maybe the next generation will have opengl.  :-[

I read a about this "Angle project", I think it's like a translator between OpenGL and DirectX I read in a post comment it's the better way for port a game to Windows phone Platform.
