Broken Caanoo

Like I say though - I doubt it is a hardware problem since it was power loss during flash update that caused the issue.

Heard back from Michael (Evildragon) at gp2x.de and he cannot help. 

I will keep trying to "blind" re-flash it - I might get lucky. Otherwise I suppose it will be useful for spare parts if I get another caanoo.

Time to start saving for a new caanoo and/or pandora.

I am getting no power light so not sure how I could tell if it was re-flashing.

This and a bad update means your Caanoo is bricked, and the boot is wiped. If you don't have boot binary you can't reflash the console. You can only recover it with the unbricking process and the special cable (or developer board). You can write A/S service in Germany too, but if you are not under warranty I think they charge for the service.

I sent a mail to them but it bounced, seems they have gone along with GPH's public support for Caanoo.

Also the CC website link to repairs is dead, I think I had already seen that and tried it.

Thanks to everyone who has tried to help  but I think I am going to have to try the "unbrick my wiz" kit and/or just let it go. Time to move on.
