what is PLATFORMINFO$("ID")?

What is the string returned? Can be used to keep track of installed machines?

Also, on my PC it returns a ID of... around 8-10 digits, and in iOS it returns a 40 hex digits or so...

On a PC it's mainly the ID of the C drive. iPhone is unique. PG2X might fail (return alsways the same number).
