minimizing PLAYSOUND?

When a glbin is minimized PLAYSOUND isnt audiable.
Is there a way around this aside from focus on the exe?
Maybe a different feature?

on a similar subject I have found sometimes if a sound is played while focus is not on the program and then a sound played after focus is returned it ignores the volume level and plays the sound at full volume. Also after it has done it once the volume for that wav file seems to stay at full blast until you play a sound at a different volume. Has anyone else had that problem and if so how did they get round it?

with playsound, the volume must be preset.
so when you return focus. make sure you set the volume again
