Problems after internet upgrade

Hi,

Just upgraded viam the built in update function and now I can't get into the glbasic editor

I get the following error :

'this application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Re-installing may fix this problem'

I've done this twice now and get the same error

I'm using xp pro sp2.
