In my tests SETORIENTATION no fix nothing!!!!

:o

I think like @Dacarsoft; the BEST WAY are DELETE all related to iCade in GLB and offers support for iCade with wrappers (*.m, etc files).

(Fix bug corners with images are a TEMPORAL trick... not a PROFESSIONAL SOLUTION.)  ;/

Regards! ;)

@javiero

To compile to Real iPhone hardware you need to have an iPhone Developer Account. There you can create a Certificate for each of your programs. Install it on your host machine and you will able to compile your program for real Hardware.

Thanks traducidare, my problem is I don't have a certificate.

I need purchase the 100$ developer account for certificate or only with the sdk demo is needed?

Oh dear ;)

OK, first, the iPhone compiler yield's some warning when creating a library:
Code (glbasic) Select

/cygdrive/q/Compiler/platform/iPhone/bin/arm-apple-darwin9-ar: can't find or exec: /usr/local/bin/arm-apple-darwin9-ranlib (No such file or directory)
/cygdrive/q/Compiler/platform/iPhone/bin/arm-apple-darwin9-ar: internal ranlib command failed

Ignore that.

Next, the iPhone is release only, not for the simulator.
Third, the next update will solve the problem with the libtool.

You don't need the full SDK for compilation on iPhone, the demo is enough.

Hi gernot

But when I compile for real device I get this error->    Code Sign Error: The identity iphone developer dosn't match any valid certificate/private key pari in the default keychain

How can i resolve this?

Many thanks.  :good:

The compiler in windows say this:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

precompiling:
GPC - GLBasic Precompiler V.7.003 - 3D, NET
Wordcount:3 commands
compiling:
arch:
/cygdrive/q/Compiler/platform/iPhone/bin/arm-apple-darwin9-ar: can't find or exec: /usr/local/bin/arm-apple-darwin9-ranlib (No such file or directory)
/cygdrive/q/Compiler/platform/iPhone/bin/arm-apple-darwin9-ar: internal ranlib command failed
Creating .app for Hello_world

Is needed any library to windows?

Hi.

First of all, the apps compiled with glbasic are suitable for Iphone simulator or only for real iphone ?.

When I compiled for Iphone device, i get this error ->  Code Sign Error: The identity iphone developer dosn't match any valid certificate/private key pari in the default keychain

When I compiled for Iphone simulater, i get this errors:
---------------------------------------
collect2: ide returned 1 exit status
symbol(s) not found
_main in main.o
(X) "_GLB_iPhone_call_main", referenced form:
_main in main.o
(X) "_iPhoneDeviceID", referenced from:

---------------------------------------

Any idea?

I have the SDK for free but not purchase the license 100$ by now. Is neccesary ?

Thanks.

Can you try 800x480, too, please? That would force landscape then. Or damage everything ;)

I was test it.

The 800x480 work, but the UPSIDE is DOWN and DOWNSIDE is UP, is like a mirror vertically.

You undestand me?  ;)

Open the file:
compiler\platform\platform.ini with Notepad.
Find "[WINCE]".
Add the resolution yourself, choose it (restart Editor before) and try it. Does it work? (I'm uncertain).

Hi gernot.

Yes work  :good:

The only thing, is why no work when I set SETSCREEN 480,800,1

but I set the 480x800 trought the platform.ini, then work.

Hi gernot:

I buy a new HTC PRO 2 with 800x480 pixels of resolution, and I can't make applications with this resolution. You can add more resolutions for WINCE ?

I test the GPS in this machine, and work perfect.

Many thanks.  :good:

There's 2 things not to mix!
1) You need an apple device to program for the iPhone/iPod Touch (a Mac computer)
2) You might be wise to have an iPod Touch to acutally *test* your program on the real device then.

All in all about 500,- EUR to get started. It's quite something. OTOH, you can always ask here and someone might do this for you. We can talk about your game and if we think it will be good enough to reward you 1000,- EUR, you should buy a Mac and iPod and go real.
We could also offer a "distribution" service, so you send the game and we share the earnings like 90/10 or so with you.

Is really good idea.  :good:
