I'm not sure if will possible make a landscape very easy to export to GLbasic, but perhaps optimizing or making some trick can be possible... I investigate about this...
It's free, and if you like 3D or want do a Landscape this software it's very very good for make realistics terrains... and naturaleze..

It´s Vue de´spirit!
It does an excellent job rendering sky and clouds! :good:
Takes some time though.
HI Erico, I test a bit, and now you can do mountanys, trees vegetation and a lot of things... they put a shop, on you can find a lot of models... and the render not it's too much slow...
And have a terrain editor very powerfull, I have to look whit more calm... I will say how works..
PS: About your game any image?¿...
It may be that Vue came bundled on a v8 of lightwave we bought some years ago, and nowadays the machines are much faster, so I hold back my ´slow´ statement as I haven´t used it in quite some years.
Mental, I will send you a vid by email on the game, I hope to beta test around our guinnea friends :nana: here on the forum before the end of march hehe.
Yes Erico, I reply yet... Very nice... Hypeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! :D :D :-[
MrT made some lovely images and a video with this a while back IIRC.
Hi Ian I never use, basically I never have to do a Landscape for some client never... and If I have to add trees or somthing like that, I used libraries...
But perhaps for use like terrain Editor can be usefull for a FPS game or something similar... but really I take a look to number of polys creates and I think the mobile can explode or burn... whit the bunch of polys :D
Thanks mentalthink!! I didn't know this application. It is very usefull. I wonder why these enterprises put its own software for free. The World is changing!! ;)
HI Alex... make some years this soft, not was too much expensive, but I think some money costs...
About put it free, I think this have a little trick, this soft now have a shop inner the software, something similar to Daz3D, the soft it's free but you can buy a lot of stuff, similar does Unity 3D, but they win 500E minimun for each version, else 1500 €...
It does produce rather nice graphics!
Yes it's nice... I remenber when I star whit 3d in the 90's for make landscape was 2 soft, Bryce, at today works, and another really imporessive I only rebember this soft was from Russia, but using Pentiums or Amd K6, the quality of the renders was absolutely incredible... perhaps my eyes don't be familiarized whit 3D and anything in 3D I like me a lot...
I try to search but nothing...
