Title: If use Mac use Paralles 8...
Post by: mentalthink on 2012-Dec-18
Well this can be sound like Spam... but I only get the better things  =D =D =D
Well the only I say this it's I stay using parallels 7 and well works very nice, but in example expensive games like Metro 2033 don't works, because Parallels 7 don't have support to directX, the good thing of the 8 it's the support for this technology, and a nice thing you can increase up 1Gb of Video... don't care the machine don't drops down the FPS and runs very very smoothly ...

My suggestions if you have a mac mini... put 8Gb of Ram, I stay using about a year 4Gb and tuns fine, sometimes the computer freeze for a second, but really I never was of Mac, but this machine for work whit GLbasic it's the best option "cheaper" and you can work whit very huge apps into windows

I'm surprised a Mac Mini would be able to get to 8GB - Would cost a lot too!

No MrTatoad the memory of mac not it's genuine, it's clone... well it's from OWC, they are specialist in Mac, they are in USa, a module can cost about 30$,it's very cheaper...

About mac mini, the last model support 16Gb of Ram, the very old, I think only support 4 Gb, but mine it's 2009 Later... it's a bit old, but really for work making games runs very pretty...
