Title: Getting "Developer options" back in the Android 4.2 settings menu
Post by: bigsofty on 2012-Nov-20
For some mad reason it's missing now but if you do the following you can get it back.

Go to "About Tablet", then tap "Build Number" 7 times and the menu option is back.

Now you can go back to compiling for Android with GLB!  ;)

That sounds like how to unlock cheat mode in Mortal Kombat back when I was a kid.  :D Thanks for the heads up.

I did this and got the 'x steps away from being a developer' message, etc. For some reason I was installing to my Nexus 7 with Android 4.2 before dev mode was on just fine. Have no idea why.

thank you BigSoft !!! I recently upgraded to 4.2.x and I could not find this mode that seemed to have been overshadowed by v4.2
