Hello GLB developers.
This is a new game console that will hit the market in 2013.
It runs on Android.
Please see details on the link below.

May be GLBasic will have a compiler for it.
I really have trouble seeing what basically is a high end tablet becoming the be-all end-all of gaming.
That is, if those people don't grab the money and run, which still is a big possibility.
HI this COnsole it´s creating Divide opinions in a lots of forums...
I´m not sure if this console will be a good market, but it´s sure it´s very interesting for a lot of people, hey gain x4 times the price for make the console...
I´m sure GLBasic runs into this Console only it´s Android... BUt we have in mind WebOS... surelly in 2013 appears a lot of devices whit the New OpenSource of WebOS...
ABout the platforms it´s bit confuing say, GLbasic can run in this or in this another... in some months.. we´ll have in the market hundred of tv "smart" and we have to think, this aparells have a cost...
In resume I think make games for a lot of consoles can be improductive (too much cost in aparells), and we have the bigs forogtten... PC it´s the most common device in any house, office or anyplace... we have linux , mac and WIN, it´s sure we can compite whit a Ghost Recon, or some another AAA game, but I think it´s a good point PC like the tablets and mobiles devices...
Is it manly hardware or software and I'm confused about where the apps come from. For example, what about cloned consoles? I imagine there would be many of those like there are with tablets.
Years ago I thought this would be great. A console perfect for small indie dev. There's lots of 2 player games I'd like to see playable around a tv.
I'm hopeful, but also doubtful as we have become so much more handheld orientated. Developer support is also going to play a big part in its success. If you can get quality games for $0.99 though, I'll probably get one.
The console is really interesing and its got a success in the Kickstarter as well various places on net (more than example GameGadget which got a horriable release). howover the release is first about half year and the most concern is the app model, which is not directly supported by GlBasic.
Howover as soon Gernot add Java<->C++ support (either directly or via wrapper) then I thinks its should been pretty easy to support that console, since its a Android and use standard componets, except the controller itself. Howover I thinks its really only the inApp system as well supporting the controller that is required to support it.
