After searching on Google for the answer to this & getting mixed answers I thought I would ask here seeing as there are a lot of knowledgeable folk here ;D
My phone has a little 1gb micro SD & I want to replace it with a larger one. Seeing as I have apps etc stored on it can I just plug the old card into my PC & copy all the files across & then onto the new card or is there some hidden files that will not copy via that method.
Like I said, very much a noob question :-[

Not 100% sure but it might be better to Image the Current SD Card onto the new SD Card
You could try software like Macrium Reflect: http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.aspx
When you copy it, just dont delete your old sd-card (for now), keep it as you backup until youre sure everything works ok with new card. So you wont lose data.
Thanks for your answers, tried a normal copy & had some problems. Booted PC into linux & done a properties on the card as well as the back up & the file count/total space used was different. Copied over again this time in a linux terminal & both counts match & phone not having the problems it was from the 1st attempt.
I will give that Imaging prog a try if I encounter any problems as I have no rush to wipe the old card yet so that can stay safe for the time being =D
