Anyone know how to do anything with this, it'd be awesome for any free iOS games we do :D

Unfortunately, like FMOD, it's not free...

The Windows API for it is very nice though - I wrote one for DBPro ages ago and was very simple to use, possibly even better than FMOD

As for iOS, it should be easy enough to add to the XCODE project and call (with INLINE) from GLBasic

Interesting... but the price... it´s very very expensive!!!, almost for me...  :'( :'(

Once you've brought a copy for yourself, see if you can afford an all-encompassing version for Gernot :)

Thought it was free for non-commercial games. Does that include free games on the store.

The commercial prices using is its very expensive for us,  because most of use developing is paid games, and we not selling 10000 of copies. So its out of line and scope of glbasic.

Howover why not contact them? Gernot could trying to get a nice argreements in some way and then eventuelly sell a nice extension from his score as a sound extension? Also bass is much much better than the clumpy SLD sound engine and we only need about few commands from it really (yes I have used its in various none glbasic projects)

If we can get a shareware license agreements, which we allow to sell X number of copies before we need a commercial, that its would been excellent. The downside we might not allow use all commands its support, but that nice.

Yeh I've used BASS before in Blitz Basic 2D it's awesome, I did a streaming radio player with VU-Meters using FFT. Was really cool! Will try to contact them to see what options they have or are able to accommodate.

Here its World been better format support (mp3 or adpcm sound would been awesome). Commands could even stay with a bass_. Howover license is a issue and eventuelt could been a separate product.
