Title: MUSIC #2
Post by: MrTAToad on 2012-Mar-18
For some reason the included tune plays on Android - but not properly (it sounds corrupt), but works on other platforms

All my other tunes are fine

Might be the 48k sample rate thats causing problems, try to convert it to 44.1k & see if that cures it

There is already thread extracly this Kevin tune (if I remember correct, not downloaded yet), and only one there was problem with. Not remember link, but it's could been a vbr issue. It's might got removed under forum backup. So try to a none vbr version too.

hey, that why :-D. I was looked this thread on my iPhone, so have not open the file. But what bitrate does the others tunes use, since they others works nice? Mightbeen its should been follow that bitrate and khz? Its look something like a codec or decode error for me.

I would say try opening it and resaving it with a different audio tool.

Dont have anything else apart from Audacity...

Everytime I try to re-save it using Goldwave v5.58 to Oggvorbis, I get a division by zero error.
Any reason you're not using MP3?

I then turned on the ignore division by zero errors
and created these two files for you to try.

Let me know if either of these work.

Think I've got it sorted now.

In Audacity, it appears that two settings need to be changed to 44100 hz - the project rate at the bottom left and the rate of the loaded sample...  Do both and music plays fine...
