Someone out of this forum (let us call him Backslider) sold me two WP7 Devices and gave me a notice that in near future a windows phone update (7.6 or 8) has the ability to use WinRT and so C++ / Native Code.

That would be good, although Gernot doesn't feel the market share is sufficiently large enough for the effort...

I was thinking the same but looking through the GLB compiler directory nearly all have SDL files in there so wonder if that's the reason.

use the search feature.... anyway WP7 is a nogo (C# required, but glbasic is in C++), but WP7.5 (Tango) and Windows 8 (include Metro style apps) should been possible.
