Title: GLB and TouchPad ICS CM9
Post by: ampos on 2012-Feb-19
I have installed Android ICS CM9 on my TouchPad, but GLB failed to install (it worked great on CM7)

What can I do for you, Gernot? Or you for me? :D

Code (glbasic) Select
[echo] Installing D:\Programas\GLBasic\Proyectos\PhotoFrame\distribute\Android\bin\glbasic-debug.apk onto default emulator or device...

BUILD FAILED
D:\Programas\GLBasic\Compiler\platform\android\android-sdk-windows\tools\ant\main_rules.xml:641: The following error occurred while executing this line:
D:\Programas\GLBasic\Compiler\platform\android\android-sdk-windows\tools\ant\main_rules.xml:271: exec returned: 1

Yes, confirmed, ADB is not working on CM9 alpha2.

But do not worry, you can still install apk almost as easy: just run ES FILE EXPLORER, connect to your home network, find the debug.ipk file and click over it.

Hmm interesting. I assume ADB is something that will be fixed at some point right?

Ampos have you got a link to installation procedures? And is it stable?

Cheers

That would be up to Google to fix :)

I have it running for days with no crashes at all.

My PhotoFrame software has been running for at least 2 days with no stops (in TouchPad it crashes from time to time).

This http://www.howtogeek.com/76960/how-to-install-android-on-your-hp-touchpad/ are the instructions to install CM7

And here http://rootzwiki.com/topic/18843-releasealpha2-cyanogenmod-9-touchpad/ the files for CM9-Alpha2

The instructions are exactly the same, but with the CM9 files.

I have Combat Mision 3 running great.
