Title: DingsFont ?
Post by: bigtunacan on 2012-Jan-10
I'm trying out dings font for the first time.  Is there a way to set it up so that the background is transparent for the .PNG format rather than using a colored background?

I can't remember how to, or if it's possible with the standard built in font utility, but have you tried this one, as found on the DE forum, which has quite a few extra options, including transparency ...

Here's a post on how I remove the background using Paint.NET (free):

Thanks!  I downloaded the UO DiNGSFont v5 that you linked to.  Great tool; just what I needed.

@Slydog; you should try it out.  Free; looks similar to the built in font tool and no extra step need to use an image editor like Paint.NET. :)
