Hibernate is not working in Pre2, but I imagine that instead of a bug it is because HIBERNATE can be wake-up by joy movements, and mobile-devices always are returning joy movements (gravity!), and so should not work on any mobile-thing.
Can be JOY movements ignored by hibernate, or at least, on mobile-things?
Dropped for android, webos, iOS in next update.
