Post by: erico on 2011-Sep-04
I have seem a few people using this remote-desktop-app to run lightwave from their sofa.
it seemed reeeeaally interesting to me, almost like a cintiq but a lot cheaper. :O

what do you guys think about it?

I will try it out as I get hands on an ipad2 soon...but it also seems to work from phones and android things.

original info here:

as well as some workaround to shortcuts through scripts.

Bought it on sale for Iphone for £1.49 instead of £9.99
It works really well.  I wouldnt recommend watching films from it, but as a remote desktop it works great.

I own a samsung q1 ultra though, so portable coding has never been an issue, but for lying in bed and doing something you forgot or just for the fun its great.

Darn no version for Symbian OS.  Am I surprised?  Not exactly. :)  I love remote desktop systems, they can be handy at times.  In fact I'm going to use it on our families various computers.  Mostly as remote desktop support (maybe) but also on my netbook to control my desktop PC.

Good lord, Newtek changed location of their forum pages. Now all links frow everywhere lead to 404 page.
Now that's BAD website management.
