Title: Android - case sensitivity
Post by: Kitty Hello on 2011-Aug-22
Hi,

it seems that the case insensitive stuff I do for *nix flavours does not work on Andoird. So, please check that you make all media and directories and calls to them are case sensitive. I started using only lowercase letters for anything a year ago. Gives slightly longer names like:

but, I never got any Problems since.
The "Media" must be with a capital "M", though!!! (Mac OSX issue :/ )

I believe there is a PLAYMUSIC problem (ie crash), but I haven't been able to test again...

Ive not yet been able to get any mp3s to play. Is there any particular Quality/Bitrate/Channel mode I should be using ?

You wont with Windows as being free and unrestricted by patents, Microsoft deem it not worth bothering with

mp4/aac works on iOS, .mp3 on Windows and .OGG on Android.

Can we have an option not to copy /Media to /Distribute/Platform/xxx/Media (as it was before the /distribute)?

Now, my .apk or xcode folder has the 3 music formats...
