dont buy it , its all crap
my story : i bought a epad for 140 euro from ebay , its called zt180 .
after 2 days to search for a method for updating to android 2.2 ,ill give up
why ? : its not a zt180 it is a clone !!!! its a infotmic v8088 !!!!
ordered chicken - get dog !!!!
Got 2 china tablets. Tried to fix the pointer jitter (really huge, like 32 pixels) with a factory reset -> device went dead. Opened screen to flash firmware (I'm a dork) broke the glass. Ordered some replacement glass from a broken board that fits perfectly - does not work. The devices look 99% the same but they are totally different.
Lesson learned - save the money for the shipping costs, and get some 50$ more expensive real device with warranty and widespread acceptance.

So something like this is not recommended?

Are you suggesting to get these same imported devices from a local dealer with warranty?
Can you please give me an eBay example of what is a good device?
Gernot is saying that you should only get a branded unit from a reliable retail outlet. That way you are covered by a proper warranty that protects you in the event of a fault with the machine. I would go as far as to say only buy it in a shop (rather than online), so you can physically take it back (if you have a problem) and get an immediate replacement, exchange or refund. It is far eassier to show someone the problem than write about it for someone else, miles away,to misinterpret.
Most of these products on ebay are unofficial clones that are inferior in every dept. What they claim and what they deliver are not the same. Avoid!
In Spain we said "in the end, the cheap is expensive"
these bandits put also a cracked version from winhex in the updates !
Also: You get what you pay for.
Yes. Mine has a Google Market on, and I'm not sure they did (read: quite sure that they didn't) pay for this.
The box is (as with many china products) just a screenshot of the device with "Android 2.2" in fat, curly letters.
No device name, no nothing.
Considering the norm, I don't think I will buy one from eBay although I'll keep looking around but I dislike shopping.
