Many thanks millerzone - I've used the code HN3TANJE6ERK

I think it's a great idea to offer codes here. I will do the same for my next app/update (all current codes were used for marketing - not that they achieved anything :()

Hope this is successful for you - it certainly deserves to be :)

[EDIT] Forgot to say that I will give feedback on iTunes once I've played it properly. :)

Miller,
Thanks for the game, I just went ahead and purchased it. Game is a lot of fun and very unique to the App Store offerings.

And since yesterday it is also available on install0us. My apps are so crap that they even don't reach pirates.  :(

That makes me mad that apps can easily be broken like that to be posted on pirated sites. I seriously hope Apple will have an answer for that in the upcoming iOS5

I don't believe people that pirate something would ever buy it if it was not possible to pirate in the first place.
I try to consider that 'informal' publicity.  ;)

If that really bothers, you can 'release' a pirated copy of your own game yourself right after the official release (or before as a leak!) with some sort of lock somewhere, like  Traveller's Tales did with LEANDER on the amiga.

That way you get publicity hype, 'leaked' version tends to gather more people into it.
Although it's supposed to be a full version, you can crap out the game in different ways so it ends up as a demo.

-unpassable level
-sudden extreme difficulty level
-etc

You may wanna try not to use a crash, as people may think the app is bugged in the first place, go for less tragic strategies.
You could also release some 3 differently crippled versions and pre-flood the pirate market.

At the end, whoever plays it enough and get bothered by that. will buy the game. :)
