Title: Palm Pre stuff
Post by: MrTAToad on 2011-Mar-17
Finally managed to get some time to get my game ready for the Palm Pre

As usual Windows 7 x64 makes things a bit... interesting...

First off, you need to install the drivers before attaching the device - doing it the other way around and I found the standard driver installation will only be partially successful, preventing the pack and install routine from working.

The included putty program doesn't work (comes up with network error:Connection refused).  There is a x64 version (by someone else), which I will be trying at some point in the future.

Edit : The 64 bit version made no difference

Aside from that it seems to be a very fast machine and so far the program seems to be running okay...  I'm re-designing my title screen at the moment, so I cant see what the rest will be like.

What Putty program is that? Missed that completely (even if it doesn't work).

Indeed - and very nice it is too.  Spots is okay... :)

There are a few graphical anomalies (mainly scaled animated sprites come out as blue blobs) that I need to look at.  Is there anyway of taking screenshots of running games ?

might be a firewall issue. It's connecting through port 10020 I think.
