I hope to have the first phase of my network lobby system available for testing very shortly, screenshots of it are, of course, included.
This will be phase 1 for testing networking in Spots - phase 2 will be the complete game networked :)
After three tries at it, I do think this is pretty much as good as it gets : It's easy to use, clients see host machines promptly, and abnormal termination is detected quickly. Whilst it may not offer all the features of I had in the previous version, at least everything seems to work well :)
Hopefully, people will also be able to make good use of it too...
The usual discussion on how it all works will start when I've posted the test program...
