I'm trying to play a small .mov video on the iPad using PLAYMOVIE, but I only get sound.
The .mov video plays ok on the iPad with it's built in video player.

PLAYMOVIE only really works on Windows, although Gernot may have looked into getting it working on the iPhone.

Thanks MrTAToad, that saved me some time trying to get it working with PLAYMOVIE.

I ended up played the video in Media Player Classic and took snapshots of the frames I needed. I'll
do the animation via GLBasic.

Hm. Playmovie does play on iPhone, but it must be m4v format IIRC.

hmm i created it with an .mov video with ipod resolution and it worked fine :/
