Title: Beta Windows problem
Post by: MrTAToad on 2011-Jan-21
Having a bit of trouble with the beta in Windows - whenever there is a mouse click inside a program window, it is minimised.

It appears that when running a program from the IDE, the windows mouse is put behind the running window - hence the cause of the problem - it seems that the program doesn't have access to the mouse pointer.

I do disable the mouse pointer when the program runs, so I wonder if that is the cause.  No, apparently not.

I do notice that the IDE caret is re-positioned to the top left of the screen when the program runs...

I do also need to check to see if the window centre C routine now interferes with something...

Oh, that's the debug mode. I switch to not using DirectX then. Is it bad?

OK, another update. This one seems pretty stable to me. It will be online in 1:30, so be patient with the download.
The logfile should say: // 8.232 - beta 22-jan-00:59 (Zzzz)

That seems to work fine.

One other thing I forgot to mention is that for some reason, when running a program from the IDE, the colours in the Files list invert :
