Hi, yesterady I write about make good lightmaps whit cinema 4d, because max don´t make well the unwrap, and the texture seems no have sense textured on GLbasic.
Today looking a bit in max, I found this trick and works perfectly, on iphone I don´t try yet, but I think have to work, own I say in Glbasic works, perfectly.
The trick:
When you make the unwrap in max, you have the channel id for the texture this is normaly in 3, and the unwrap channel is 3 too, you have to chage the channel unwrap (modifier) to 1, then in the viewport the texture don´t looks well, don´t worry, when you export to .3ds and after to .ddd, in Glbasic the texture coordonates works pretty well. Look atach file.(contains GLB proyect + text and model), I´m thinking kwow :S perhaps in models more complexes don´t works, I advertise about this in the case what comples models don´t works well.

Hi, I´m autoreply, after make some probes, finally this little trick works fine , whit more complex models, in this case I put a simple house wall whit 3 very low poly chairs , the result is fantastic, the lightmap works perfectly, on Pc and Iphone, and whit a texture 1024 power 2 - png whitout alpha, iphone can see too much detail, whit a very smoothest movement, well the scene only have 1214 polys.
I put the GLB project, for is anyone want to try on her machines.

I will put some advance about another theme for 3D on iPhone, about load a huge mesh, I don´t know if my idea will works, I think yes... but I´m not very sure about my thinking for implement literaly a great mesh whit a lot off polygons on iPhone. If my idea work´s will put a tutorial on 3D section.
Own I say I advise in this same thread.
