Title: Airplay SDK: 2 interesting features

I was looking for a way to develop software for both the Iphone and  Android machines.

GLB is very nice for Iphone, but from what I understand the developpers say it can not be (easily) adapted for Android. (Android is java and not C!?!?)

Having looked a bit further on the net. I came accros Airplay. With this SDK you can develop software for a whole range of different devices.
For android it creates native C programmes that can be run directly.

Developping in C is too much for me. But I was wandering would it not be possible to use the same techniques that airplay uses to create programs for android?

2nd interesting thing is. With airplay you can compile programs for the iphone on windows based machine. It is not necassary to comile it on a mac.

I don't like that its a yearly license.  Otherwise it seems nice that the iPhone version is free.

it provides an qemu image with xcode in it. thats totaly illegal.

Technically, there isn't a reason why Gernot couldn't get GLBasic running for Android - SDL is available as is OpenGL, and you can compile programs in C.  The main problem (aside from purchasing an Android device) would be getting the tool chain together - it would all require a lot of time and effort.

I believe Gernot has said that its not something he would want to do.
