Title: DoctorGBAS, where is ?
Post by: Neurox on 2008-Jul-15
Hello,
into "help editor" says that there is a utility
to create help files.
This utility is called DoctorGBAS that should
be into "Tools/Create Help" but there is no submenu.

I found the file in the subdirectory tools but also by
executing only creates an empty index file.

Any news ?  :bed:

Bye bye,
Neurox

No, it's totally annoying, that this item is not in the main menu as well. Next update. Or the one after the next. Or after that.. ;)

Hah, found this now when I had troubles with the helpfile. Why isn't there any documentation on all the interesting tools that comes with GL-Basic?

It should be named in the "Editor" section. Maybe I put it seperately, better?

I think it's such an important part they all deserve their own pages under "Tools" or something

Found the help now, is there no way to get the TYPE's in the output too, without having to write a separate commentblock?

Another question, is it possible to use "-" in the comments for parameters? I get strange results:

Code (glbasic) Select
// \param  filenr = the file-number you opened

Gives me something like this:
* filenr = the file                  -number you opened

syntax is:
// \param filenr - the file you opened
the dash seperates.
