Title: I am new to this
Post by: Lordcaim on 2008-May-06
I bought this awhile ago but I haven't had time to work with it because of school. However, recently I've been reading the tutorials and learning how to do this. I've started with a basic game, stand in one place and hold off hordes of creatures but I can't start it. I did a debugger and it told me to create a first.  :doubt: What does that mean?

First, be sure to make your project with the project wizard. Then press the "Save All" button once!
After that, the debugger should stop moaning.

SYNTAX ERROR is usually a spelling mistake or a contextual error in your code (it was expecting something but couldn't find it).

GLBasic is pretty good at picking up errors like this and should take you to the line where it occurs. If you're really stuck, post your code and we should be able to get you going again :)

Don't forget to paste the error message too!

Now we are off to a 6 week vacation in Germany :-)  No more elks or bears or wolfs and no more SNOW! :-)
