Post by: ThinkSolveDude on 2007-Dec-14
Hi All,

I created several movie files using my macbook pro. I saved them as AVI and  MPEG4. Nothing works. I can an error when I try to play them using PLAYMOVIE. The software is for my GP2X-F200.

Anyone have experience with this?

Regards,

On GP2X PLAYMOVE is not working. Someone on the forums has tried it with SHELCMD and mplayer, I think...

So is the error on the GP2X correct in saying that my video is NOT in an acceptable format? Or is it just not working? I am using a MAC to generate the video and thought the audio encoding might be the problem.

Should I try different encoding methods thinking there is a chance it may work? Or  do we know for a fact that it is not able to work?

Anything I could do to help, let me know, I'm programming it anyway.

Keep up the great work.

The command is "broken". You video should play fine. Try playing it from the GP2X-menu.
