Escape on Linux in VM

No idea whether it affects proper Linux installations, but in VirtualBox, the escape key seems to be disabled by default - which is a bit ackward in full screen mode.

In addition, disabling mouse integration (or mouse control is being a bit dodgy) no longer lets me use sprites as a pointer...  As no sprite pointer was being displayed, I suspect the mouse reading bit is being slightly naughty

On the other hand, it could just be VirtualBox - will find out tomorrow...
